I had a nice, albeit brief stay here. The breakfast spread was fantastic, reminiscent of the delightful morning feasts I've experienced elsewhere, and I particularly enjoyed the chef's perfectly creamy scrambled eggs. The charming, unique décor added an interesting vibe, and the cleanliness of the room was impressive, with all facilities functioning well. However, the dark lighting in common areas didn’t match the bright photos I saw online, which was a bit disappointing. I'd consider staying again, but maybe for a longer visit next time.

Perfect, new-fashioned units provided with great views, all comfort of a 4 * superior house and nice bed. Great location minutes from The Schanzenviertel. Set just off Hamburg for business reasons, and Sternschanze in a park in the very lively area. The hotel of choice in Hamburg.

We enjoyed the general ambience and unique architecture of the hotel. The room was very clean, well equiped bathroom, and a great view from our side of the building. We also used the free internet access from the two computers on the ground floor which was very handy.
No tea or coffee facility in the room or available through room service. Breakfast too expensive with no small alternative.

Generally I enjoyed the stay at Moevenpick Hotel. As an interior designer I really loved an idea of turning a water tower into fascinating hotel. It was a true pleasure to explore the building. The staff was truly helpful! I also enjoyed an atmosphere in the restaurant and the food was delicious!
But I did not really enjoy my room, which is located on the 12th floor. There are panels going down so there is not quite nice view from the window. All you could see is an ugly structure. Obviously lacks the natural sunlight! It was also very cold in the room and I couldn't use any heating. The atmosphere in the room didn't make me feel cosy...I Would say this hotel is perfect for business traveller because it has this minimalistic style which makes you feel a little stiff...

It's a rare experience staying in a converted water tower on the hill. Definitely worth the stay. Conveniently located near to shanze area, next to the train and underground- 2 stops to the main station. Staff are very helpful and you get free voucher for wifi in the lobby area. Hotel is clean and modern.

The hotel is very centrally located, next to a subway that reaches all the main sights and locations within just a couple of minutes; staff is very helpful and friendly; the breakfast buffet is worth every Euro - great quality, very nicely presented; huge variety of typical European and American breakfast meals.
No Beauty-and Spa Treatments nor Swimming Pool inhouse; has to be done externally but can be organized through Hotel Reception.

The ambient in this very special building with rough structures and brick walls Quality of the wellness/sauna area Front desk personel Design of the room Breakfast
That you have to pay for wifi when staying in a standard room - come on we are in 2012 and simply expect this Poor quallity of WIFI when paying - slowly - must give up and go to a Starbuck Coffee shop This was professionally handled by the front desk personel - we ended up not paying

Interesting hotel as it is an old water tower, it is also right in the city centre, I used to live in Hamburg so know the city really well , this hotel was an obvious choice.
Having to pay for the internet, (expensive) in a quality hotel such as this, in this day and age is just not on

Location is great in an upcoming aria, bit rough, bit alternativo. Hotel is a bit unusual, but friendly and thoughtfull enough. Free parking spaces a few steps from the hotel. Good & much cheaper breakfast places, again, a few steps away
